Airman Leadership School (ALS). The Course is designed to teach basic Civil Air Patrol history, organization, regulations, uniforms, and leadership: this applies to C/Amn through C/SrA.

Staff: Friday 3rd October 2014 at 1800 through Sunday, through 5th October 2014 at 1400 hrs.

Students: Saturday at 0630 hrs through Sunday 5th October 2014 at 1300 hrs.

Graduation services will be at 1200 hrs on 5th October 2014

Prospective ALS students must:
• Have a current CAP ID Card (or be listed as a current member on CAP eServices).
• Be a cadet in good standing AND current with Safety Requirements.
• Have completed Basic Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Introduction to CAP safety.
• Have achieved the grade of Cadet Airman. NO CADET BASICS.
• A total of 36 students will be accepted – any applications received after the 36 student limit will be put on a “Waitlist”.

• A completed Form 31 Cadet Application for a Cadet Activity with all required signatures. Seniors should use Form 17 for application. The attendee’s squadron commander (or designee) must also check the box certifying that the cadet/senior member is current on safety information IAW CAPR 62-1 and the TXWG Supplement to CAPR 62-1.
• A CAP Form 160 and 161 and 163 should also be provided.
• Deadline for all student applications to be received is: 27 September 2014 (no exceptions)
• The fee is $40.00 payable to: Civil Air Patrol, Group VI. NO personal checks or cash.
