Mark your calendar and make plans. The 2016 Texas Wing Summer Encampment will be conducted at Camp Bullis in San Antonio, TX. Training will be conducted from 26 Jun through 3 Jul 16. Staff will arrive on 25 Jun 16.
This new location will provide several new opportunities for cadets and seniors including:
- Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland military clothing store
- Security Forces Museum
- American Heritage Museum
- JBSA-Lackland Parade Grounds with aircraft display (SR-71, F-16, F-15, C-47, A-7, P-51, and more!)
- Camp Bullis Obstacle Course
- Demonstration by JBSA-Lackland Honor Guard Drill Team
Cadets interested in serving as the Cadet Commander should submit a resume and cover letter to the Director of Cadet Programs (Lt Col James D. Peace, CAP) at jamespeace@sheldonisd.com.
Seniors interested in serving as the Deputy Commander, Commandant of Cadets, and Chief Training Officer should contact Lt Col Peace at jamespeace@sheldonis.com.
Applications are due 29 Feb 16.
All other staff assignments will be announced on 25 Feb 16.
