TRACON Tour – Cancelled

Greetings Nighthawk:

We have been invited to visit D10 TRACON, FAA Air Traffic Control, Monday March 9, 2:00 – 4:00 PM.

Come see how air traffic controllers oversee all aircraft within a 30 mile radius of the DFW airport. This tour will be a behind the scenes look at how ATC supervises every flight arriving and departing the DFW area. The tour will also include a visit to one of three DFW Control Towers.

This tour is open to US Citizens only. Cadets, please have your CAP ID with you. Those 18 and older must have a government issued ID with them to enter the facility.

No Photography is allowed.

All Cadets must provide a CAPF-32 Permission Slip for this tour. Please fill out and email the completed form to 2d Lt Dave Rosenfeld at rosenfeldd@dentoncap.org.

13:00 Meet at Woolfolk Hangar
13:10 Depart for DFW Airport (50 min)
14:00 Arrive TRACON
16:00 Depart TRACON and return to Denton
17:00 Dinner at Cadet preferred establishment (1hr) Bring money.
18:30 Monday Meeting Opening Formation at Woolfolk Hangar
