Nighthawk,

We have have been invited to have a Color Guard and flight of cadets to march in Veterans Day Parade in Roanoke by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Roanoke Post on Saturday, November 5, 2022. The parade will start around 12:00, and the CAP van will be leaving the Woolfolk Hangar at 9:30 AM.

If you wish to go directly there, meet us on the south side of the Roanoke City Hall parking lot.

Uniform of the Day:

Class B Blues

Schedule:

  • 9:30 AM – Meet at Woolfolk Hangar (if riding in the van)
  • 10:15 AM – All participants arrive south side parking lot of Roanoke City Hall
  • 12:00 PM – Speeches
  • ~12:30 PM – Parade starts
  • After Parade – Meet at VFW Post for hamburgers and hotdogs

    • After the Parade:

    We will be putting out Flags around Denton after the parade. Be sure to come and bring your ABUs. More details later.
