Attention all Senior members!

Texas Wing Civil Air Patrol Group VI will be hosting both a Squadron Leadership School (SLS) and a Corporate Learning Course (CLC) on the weekend of 6-7 May 2017 at US Aviation at the Denton Enterprise Airport.

Squadron Leadership School is a Professional Development course that is part of the CAP Level 2 curriculum.  The course introduces the student to the workings of a squadron and prepares them to be active staff members.  SLS also goes into more depth on CAP customs and core values and how the squadron fits within the structure of Civil Air Patrol.  Sign up and details are available on the Denton CAP calendar:  Squadron Leadership School.  The requirements for this course are:  Level 1 complete, Squadron Commander’s approval.

Corporate Learning Course is the Professional Development course for CAP Level 3.  Ever wondered what Group and Wing did for the squadrons?  This is the course that will explain that!  It also prepares you to deal with staff officers at the next higher level (and maybe even become one).  Sign up and details are available on the Denton CAP calendar:  Corporate Learning Course.  The requirements for this course are:  SLS complete, Squadron Commander’s approval.
